FAQ
Questions Worth Asking
Every engagement begins with questions — about capability, cost, commitment and outcomes. We’ve answered the ones we hear most often. If yours isn’t here, let’s talk.
Working together
Do you replace our existing IT provider?
Absolutely not. We work alongside existing suppliers wherever possible. Our role is to improve decision-making, not create unnecessary change. If your current partners are the right fit, we'll tell you.
Do you recommend your own products?
No. Recommendations are based on suitability, not resale. We're independent by design.
Will you work with our internal teams?
Yes. The best outcomes happen when operational knowledge stays inside the business. We don't replace internal expertise. We strengthen it.
What if we've already identified the problem?
Excellent. We'll test it. Sometimes you're right. Sometimes the visible problem is simply the symptom. Validation is often more valuable than confirmation.
Delivery
Do you implement solutions?
Where appropriate. Sometimes we're engaged to diagnose. Sometimes to design. Sometimes to oversee implementation. Every engagement is scoped around the outcome rather than a fixed methodology.
How long does an engagement last?
That depends on complexity. Some decisions require a focused engagement lasting only a few weeks. Transformation programmes naturally take longer. The objective is always to create momentum — not dependency.
What happens after delivery?
Recommendations shouldn't gather dust. Where appropriate we remain involved to monitor progress, validate outcomes and help teams adapt as circumstances change.
Commercials
How do you charge?
Every engagement is scoped individually. Some are fixed-fee. Others are phased around delivery. We'll always explain the commercial structure before any work begins.
Do you work with businesses outside hospitality?
Yes. Many of the challenges we solve — technology decisions, supplier strategy, operational efficiency and digital transformation — exist across industries. Our approach transfers well.
What size businesses do you work with?
Usually organisations where operational decisions have meaningful commercial impact. The exact size matters less than the willingness to improve.
Expectations
What do you need from us?
Time. Access. Honesty. Decision-makers. Those are the biggest predictors of success.
What if we're unsure whether we're ready?
That's a perfectly valid place to start. An initial conversation isn't a commitment. Sometimes the outcome is simply identifying the right next step.
Things we’ll probably tell you
- Your technology isn't always the problem.
- Buying another platform rarely fixes unclear processes.
- If your current supplier is doing a good job, we'll say so.
Still wondering? The best questions are usually specific to your business. If we haven’t covered yours here, we’d rather have the conversation than force your situation into a generic answer.
